The Capichera winery is certainly a point of reference in the wine scene of Sardinia. At the head of it today is the charismatic Fabrizio Ragnedda, who work in the vineyards and and in the winery, in a style that is first a philosophy of life: "We go into the vineyard, we see the plant and the soil, because the wine was born there, not in the cellar. If the wine born in winery it responds to the philosophy of the consumer, not to the living". This is the thought that guides the whole production Capichera, which makes the Vermentino, of course, its strength. A vine that like few others loves to feel the scents and aromas of the sea, and loves to reflect them in its taste. There is no doubt that Capichera has long been one of the best interpreters of this variety, with bottles that are beginning to make their way in the world. The context in which the vineyards arise contributes greatly to the birth of really unique bottles, in flavor and in fragrances; the vineyards, in fact, are distributed on two corporate bodies, one, the older, slightly away from the corporate body, the other, more recent, close to the production structure. Both are immersed in a fairytale environment. Here, the intervention are limited to a minimum, in full respect of the plant and the soil. A cellar that is absolutely essential if you want to discover this beautiful region.
